Traveling in Metz

By bus

Metz Technopôle is reachable from the city center of Metz by public bus.
Tickets can be bought from the driver on the bus.
You may board the busses in République, at the main station (Gare), or at any stop in between.

In all cases take either

Bus line U (direction TECHNOPOLE - ARS LAQUENEXY)
Bus line 8 (direction GRANGE AUX BOIS)

and leave the bus at the stop ENSAM (8) or FRESNEL (U).

In addition, a special complimentary bus has been reserved by the conference organizers for transporting the participants from the city center to the conference site in the morning and back to downtown after the last session of the day. This bus makes two stops in downtown. It will leave every morning at 8:20 from République (exact position: Avenue Ney, near Esplanade Garden, in front of Statue of Marshall Ney, see map of République area), in the first morning (tuesday september 5th) an additional bus at 7:50 is foreseen. The bus will stop approximately 5 minutes later near the train station of Metz (Gare), exact position on Rue Gambetta in front of the Post Office (see map of station area).

On the eve of the conference (Sept. 4th), the same free bus will be insuring the transport from the Technopôle to downtown after the Welcome Party, with departure from Supélec at 20:45 and 21:40. Please remark that the Welcome Party will take place at Supélec (2 rue E. Belin) and not at the conference site (see map of Technopôle area).

By car

Participants traveling from the center of town to the conference site by car shoul take this route. Free parking is available near the ENSAM building.
